About Château de Pommard

Founded in 1726 by Vivant Micault, secretary to King Louis XV, Château de Pommard remains one of the most iconic and visited wine estates in Burgundy, producing one of the greatest expressions of Pinot Noir for more than two millennia.

The Carabello-Baum family of San Francisco purchased the domain in 2014 and became just the fifth family to guide the estate in almost 300 years. The family has transformed the estate into the ultimate wine education destination where anyone can experience the phenomenon that is Burgundy.

About Nicole Muscari

Nicole is originally from Rochester, NY, but lives in New York City.  Her passion for wine was ignited in 2014 after her first trip to Napa Valley during harvest season. Nicole is currently a WSET Diploma candidate and French Wine Scholar with highest honors through the Wine Scholar Guild.

Beyond her work with the Château, Nicole also writes for publications such as “The Vintner Project” and “Honest Cooking Magazine” along with creating content for her own blog, “Grape Chic,” that has taken her to wine regions around the world.
